from what iv been told the project is for major emergencies. aka terrorist attack n thousands are injured... earthquake etc etc.
what it entails is all emergency services operate on 1 set of frequancies avaliable to all. This includes millitary, fire, ses, usar, etc it excludes the police.

On my 2w cb hand held the other night. I was trippping nz, n south headland etc. Obviously a fair distance and thats all according to the freeky world of CB. If I imput a ctcss code into it will it still trip that far???
