My thoughts exactly, the VE's crap all over the Falcons however I am in GD's so I cant compare it with Traffic.

I have however been in a couple of pursuits and they kicked ass!

There is only one reason SJA went to the UNI way of entry...to save $$$

In NSW you do an 8 week full time course before going on the road as a Student Ambulance Officer, I believe its the same in QLD and SA.

you would need to pay me well to sit in a station office for 10 hours twidling my thumbs 8) well atleast transits have computers and dvds players  I find it funny that you have actually sat and watched a Transit Officer for 10 hours straight to know this. Must have been rather boring I would i...

I think more Traffic and GD cars should be unmarked, you are able to get more results in an unmarked car. People know what the speed limit is and they know what the road rules are, if they don't want to comply with them then don't complain when they get a TIN or two. I often sit off stop signs and b...

I never had a good dealing with Secure Force, hence my dislike for them. They were obstructive when I was a Transit Officer, to the point where I nearly locked one up. They were uncooperative when I was in Local Government Security, we had responded to a incident where a tree had fell over from a bu...

Do you mean PTA Transit Officers or the Chubbstables?

The Railways have always been the priority because they link the City up with the rest of Perth.

Are Secureforce closing down because they lost the contract?

The idea of Transit Officers being sworn into the WA Police has been raised before. The WA Police could not guarantee that they would have the same staffing levels that the Transit Guard Unit has and therefore could not satisfy the PTA that they could do the WHOLE job.

It wont happen.

I doubt that very much, they have exemptions under the Road Traffic Act to park in certain areas when conducting speed camera operations. I am sure Rangers and Parking Officers would be aware of this.

Transit Officers have their powers on PTA property, if an offense occurs off PTA property it will not be of interest to the Transits and will be up to the WA Police to deal with. Transit Officers enforce laws on the trains.......how is that hard to understand...not red rooster or the local quickie m...
