Transit Guards work for the Railways not the Police, they have police powers on all public transport property.

Transit Guards should do all public transport, not just trains.

No, I am a vollie ambo with St John (not first aid) and have actually had them dispatched to a car V car. They landed on the South West HWY and did their thing. It is basically fitted out like an ambulance, I did not see any Police or Fesa radios at all. I t think if its needed by FESA/POLICE its st...

Rescue 1 (RAC Heli) is dispatched and controlled by the St John Ambulance Communications and Dispatch Centre in Belmont. Their callsign is "Rescue 1" and you can frequently hear them on the St John Frequency.

Because they are idiots, from their CEO down to their guards, they're guards are arogant, stupid and think they have the same authority as Transits. Transit Guards are accoutable, trained and have Police Powers. The PTA would hire them as per normal, the PTA dont have any problems hiring Transit Gua...

I think PTA Transit Guards should do ALL Public Transport Security. Private security should not even be on the trains (Chubb).

Hello all,

Does anyone happen to know what channel/frequency the APS use out at the Airport. I have no idea what kind of radios they use or what amount of radio traffic would be on there channels just interested to know thats all.

Does anyone know the the forty channels are used for, as in I know ch40 is for truckies but I also hear allot of chatter on channel 3 and 8, who uses these channels and what for.
