Soooo I just thought I'd let you all know that I've done, I've been and now I'm out! The academy was a great experience and being out there an even better one! Good luck to all current and future applicants!

Wrong wrong wrong! The only way a recruit training would be 3 months is if it was transitional training. There is no way recruit training will ever be 3 months. I didn't have to re do the physical because I did mine not too long before I got in but the next school is not until June/july and they have to make sure you are keeping fit. So yes it is normal, I heard of it happening before.

Wouldn't worry too much about it...good luck. Do they tend to put people of similar age together in squads? Most people in mine are, well, mature :p. I think I might be the youngest by about 10 years... Not that it matters but hopefully they'll be younger people from out of state...
