anyway, i think your spot on WF. Although i have noticed some DEC managers driving 4wd with full light bars and sirens on them... it was interesting to see!... ill take a photo next time i see!

to my knowledge they do not have sirens therefore can not got priority 1 to jobs......

yea i know the ones your talking about WF im pretty sure they can't go priority 1.... they're like a Maintenance or service unit... i have seen them on the fire ground before, backing up the emergency Western Power Vehicles... I've also seen a Western Power Duty Manager in a stock standard Nissan Pa...

Emergency Response & Firecall are the same thing, arn't they???
I've seen them go priority 1 and race in and out of traffic.... they have the Red & white light bar on the Cab roof..

Wanneroo must be in its own unique completely different weather / climate system/conditions to the rest of the metro area. If still in catastrophic fire conditions (drove past your warning signs several times yesterday) how can you task resources to York yesterday? Isn't this putting pressure on ot...

I'm curious as to who decides on the fire danger rating? I thought the Bureau of Meteorology advises FESA and the shires on them but all I heard yesterday was Possible chance of Extreme to Catastrophic fire dangers inland? Can the shires also amend these ratings for their own area's? if so does any...
