hey mate i email someone from dec a while back and this is what he had to say Thank you for your enquiry. To become part of our fire teams within DEC you have to be an employee of the agency. Fire fighting is only one part of employment with DEC - we do not have people employed just as fire fighters...

if we had those we wouldnt need fire brigades lol
