Hi Rob,
No official range testing yet but you may well be correct. The Lakes is in a low spot between Acacia prison to the east and the Chidlow turn off to the west

Hi Guys, VK6TNC-3 is now up and running. The station consists of a Motorola M120 and Kantronics 9612+ TNC feeding a Diamond Colinear antenna on a 12 metre mast in my backyard.
