REscue helicopter Dunsborough

I fish off the rocks around the Dunsborough area and a few times the rescue chopper did a flyby to check that we are ok.
Does anyone know if they monitor CB channels?
If they do next time I'll bring along a UHF in case of emergencies.

Re: Quansheng TGK4AT from HongKong

mod it to rx/tx CB channels as it only goes up to 470.000
yes it's illegal but I only use it on proper CB channels so I'm not fussed about it

Quansheng TGK4AT from HongKong

A friend was impressed with my modded TGK4AT that he went and bought one from HK recently and I said I would mod it for him. Took it apart and the bugger has a new circuit board! Does anyone know how to mod these new models?
thanks in advance

taking UHF to Bali

Hi my first post so please be gentle I am helping a friend with her wedding in Bali in October. It is on a fairly large villa so I thought I would bring along a pair of Quansheng TGK4AT (the HongKong modded versions). Would there be any problems with customs both in Bali and when coming back to Perth?
