Re: Traffic Feed for GPS units
I was under the impression that this service was not available in Perth yet.
It's been in Syd/Melb for a few years I think.

Re: UHF Connectors
I have given up on sourcing connectors from local shops, and now get them on eBay from China.
Most of the time you can get them for <$3 each with free postage, and they take about a week to arrive.

He's a Ranger in the area. During the 4th Quarter of an AFL game at Subi - Roads are subject to certain closures - this is so pedestrians leaving the venue can do so in large numbers without running the risk of being run over. The roads re-open 30-40 minutes "POST" match. Cool :) I know a...

Re: quick question
are you asking if it is illegal to get in the way of the police while they are doing their job?
if so, yeah, it is.
it would depend highly on the situation though - however, why would you want to get in the way of a maniac who's trying to outrun the police? do you have a death wish?

Thanks for that. Claremont works great here. I've locked out the 164.000 from my scanner and everything is good.
Cheers for all the help everyone.

Re: New VHF channels
Yup, it seems I am a victim of that here. I have got my scanner hooked up to a UHF CB antenna on a mag base sitting on my balcony, and I can pick up 164.000 but it sounds very drowned out by something else on the same freq. Any ideas gav on what is the best for me to listen to? I am thinking maybe g...
