Hi Richard.

Have both my UBCD996T and UBCD396T scanning away at the moment this Friday morning. Am interested to see if the same P25 unencrypted channels as last year will be used again this year.

I'll report back later when I start hearing transmissions....

For those who have digital scanners: Just heard some unencrypted P25 transmissions this morning (10hrs) on 467.1500MHz Heard " Testing, 1 2 3 4 5 " - obviously setting up for the Air Race day. Also heard unencrypted P25 transmissions (foot patrols only, base is encrypted) on 469.400Mhz . A...

Just confirming for those with a digital scanner, the following digital channels were quite busy, 465.2500 465.5750 466.1500 467.1500 467.6250 469.4000 All channels are a combination of encrypted and unencrypted P25. Update:

465.5750 - heard "Forrest Street Command", P25 unencrypted.

Looks like a command post has been set up around Forrest Street (South Perth), off Mill Point Road (???)
Mixture of encrypted and unencrypted......
