I have in my posession an old classic FT-101E transciever.It works fine and is the US version and comes with the down converter from 240 to 110 Volts. I also have a copy of the original manual.
The whole thing $100.00.....

With regards to my posting re:Transfield.......they transport defence personnell and logistics all over WA.....in fact all over Australia......it is quite concievable that they will go past the airport or have an office there....as I said.....just a suggestion...Nick

Transfield Pty Ltd has the transport contract on Garden Island (HMAS Stirling). Could it be them?.....they run buses,trucks and cars etc etc.

I was wondering if anyone was aware of the frequencies used by Group 4 security especially in regards to Garden Island.I work down there and each time I go to draw out keys the radio is "buzzing' with chatter.
