Does anyone know when the WA helitac season finishes this year. I know last year it drag on for a bit, after the finish date. And does anyone know when helitac (682) from Busselton, finishes it season and arrives back in Perth

Just wondered if something happened this morning at Perth Airport around 0730. I think the channel Seven Chopper was there (and several others accordering to some people in the area). Saw that in the 'Sunday Times' a helitac and 4 water bombers attend a fire south of Dwellingup. Does anyone know which helitac attended the blaze and wether it was from Busselton (682)

one thing I forgot about: if you get a chance: speak to the Helitak pilots... ask them how they got to where they are. Yea I spoke to one of the helitac pilots early this year and he explain he got his Helicopter Commercial Pilots License and payed about $40k, from there he needed to gain experienc...

I may have to do a bit more research before choosing what’s the best option and career path. The Air force, Navy or Army sounds like the best option of them all. Thanks again =D>

The Helitacs normally fly out in pairs according to their numbers. 668 & 669 attends the first fire upon requesting helitacs and then if they request more helitacs or another fire break’s out then 670 and 671 will attend The only helitac which doesn't involve flying out according to there number...
