^ Yep thats our thread :D And a few of those responses are from company rep who also clearly state the subsidy would be in play. So now we just looking at which company to go with - either Skymesh or Aussiebroadband. Aussie don't charge for uploads which is great but Skymesh have better VoIP plans.....

I will ring Skymesh on Tuesday to be 100% sure.

This is only what I'm been told by others, I haven't actually read it anywhere but haven't found anything on the net about it either :(

The location is quite high so I suspect if the antenna is put on a mast above the tree line this would be possible. I'll have to try and figure that out for sure but first.

Cheers for the links to :)

Help extending a network

I know this really has nothing to do with scanning but as there are a few radio buffs on here I thought I would put the question up and see where it takes me. I have a friend who is moving out of town (building a house in the bush) which means no telephone line etc. They will be about 15-20 km's fro...

I used to see that getting around a fair bit, white van with dark windows and "private ambulance" written in black.

It works for a couple of the private hospitals doing inter hospital transfers. I think I remember seeing it a Glengarry or somewhere once.

More likely that they don't want us to see how poor their times are

I think Qanta$$ have more delayed flights here in Kal than they do on time flights... Been a few stories in the local paper about it over the past few months.

Btw, The latest Merc is the 4th model but the first three were all the same in the back and therefore all Mark V.
I Think the first Merc with the little mirrors and baseball cap lighting had "Mark V" written on the back door somewhere too.

Yes they are still "mark.."

The new Merc is a Mark VI but it is no longer marked on the vans, infact Paull & Warner no longer do the deco - can't think of the new companies name off the top of my head but they were in Welshpool.
