Re: At a red light. Emergency vehicle behind you. Your rights?

Only 2 types of people can probably answer your question, 1) A serving WA police officer, 2) A Lawyer.
Anybody else is just going to be putting in their thoughts, opinions or personal reactions.

Re: Jacobs Ladder, WAPOL Command, FESA Command and SCOOP! USAR!

The 2 USAR pods supposed to be at Canningvale and Malaga seem to spend more time at Forestfield Training centre unless they have 2 shoring and 2 breaching pods, which is a possibility as USAR cat 2 training is apparently quite regular.

Re: THE FORCE

I can't be bothered looking online, only time I go off ABC is The Force, Border Security and my weekly load of absolute trash Bones and Castle because they have half a story line and some reasonable humour in them. That's it. Oh and maybe Good News Week or Thank god you're here if I remember so I've...

...What is a essentially a modified sea container coming towards you under lights and sirens very quickly...not something I particularly want to experience.

Yes I realise the 2 USAR pods are custom built from scratch, but they're close enough to a sea container.

Re: UBC 760XLT Programming

try saving 000.00 as a frequency, I'm pretty certain on my 93 XLT when I save that it locks it out.

That command post truck, is that new? Its rather quite big, must be some skill driving that under fire call, i know i wouldn't like to be any where near it while it was responding... Been around for the fire season, mixed up with the old Belmont ICV. There's photo's of it from the Success Hill fire...

Re: Other incidents/minor fires etc - 2009/2010

A very busy night for the SES: heard just about all their UHF frequencies in use. Also heard a reference to 'Channel 104'. I think this is 468.675 - the old WAPOL Channel 34. yes it is. That channel was originally an SES channel and provides fantastic coverage over the city and Northshore SES's pat...

Well it would depend on the location of the blood, in this instance it was probably quicker and easier to have Perth 1st attend and spray it down.

Re: St Georges Terrace / Supreme Court Stabbing

not a matter of reading it really, name is short, can see Perth and it looks more like 1st, than 2nd or 3rd, as for the HP22...MP22 would be really old and therefore not likely to be that.

Re: St Georges Terrace / Supreme Court Stabbing

Nice shots mate, though that looks like Perth 2nd. Perth 3rd is a Heavy Rescue where as that pump is just a Medium Pump. The pictures show Perth 1st - Heavy Pump (22). Perth 2nd is a Medium Pump Perth 3rd is a Medium Pump/Heavy Rescue good spot, on closer looking I can just barely make out the HP a...
