Re: So how do they know?
I had imagined that the cameras would broadcast all the time..but you raise a good point, they may only be triggered as required. I'll keep that in mind.

Re: So how do they know?
It appears the DAVS system is designed and built locally by a business in Morley http://www.controldynamics.com.au/pages/recent_projects.asp#4 I am quite close to a train station too so it would be interesting to see what frequency these things transmit on. I have a small portable analogue tv here a...

Re: Vehicle callsign spreadsheet
They have a Cessna 182R, registration VH-WPF, I have heard them use both the aircraft rego and "Polair 62" as radio callsigns.
The two PC-12 aircraft are VH-WPE and VH-WPY and I have only ever heard the rego used as callsigns by these aircraft

Re: General and Off Topic Pictures
Agreed...a real top bloke. This is the guy I am referring to btw http://members.iinet.net.au/~bush/ His handling courses are excellent and I highly recommend them to those with staff working in environments where encounters with snakes may occur, or even just work groups looking for something differ...

Re: Programming software
I don't own the radio, nor do I know anything about these radios or the software. But I glanced at a few sites and found this one that appears to have a software download for the GP328 in a winRAR archive. Hope it's what you are looking for.

Big Day Out
Im sure most of us are tuned to the fires but if you feel like a break there is quite a bit of traffic for the BDO on the Central Park trunk. Security, vending, AV techs, riggers and event management can be heard across 8 separate talk groups.
