How cool Gav. That is fascinating. A couple of question though, is this live or delayed? and are the times displayed local, GMT or something else? When i update the search the times seem to be about 9 1/2 hours behind local. Or am i not seeing something

To display times in local time, I think you need to register on aprs.fi and set your timezone on preferences.

The link I had was a snapshot of the tracks for that day. The last 24hrs worth of data for my tracker is at http://aprs.fi/?call=VK6HGR-9&mt=m&z=11&timerange=86400

If you visit aprs.fi it'll centre the display on Perth and you can have a look at the other APRS stations in Perth. D-star folks using digital amateur radio appear on this map too if they have their GPSes on.

I'm looking for freely distributable APRS maps for WA and subsections of WA (South West, Greater Perth area etc)
Something UIView compatible would be great but not essential. Google found me nothing suitable. I can make reasonable maps from Google Maps but they are copyrighted.

That's pretty cool having the transmitter, tracker and GPS all on the one tiny board. 5w might be a bit low for some.
