Yaesu have released a new tri bander model up from the 7R

Looks pretty spiffy. Monitor VHF, UHF and broadcast at the same time. Bluetooth, APRS, Optional GPS, temp/pressure/altitude, 16 digit alphanumeric tags, waterproof

I am in the market for a new HH but want d-star so the Icom 92 is on the shopping list.

It's a very nice looking rig!
Too bad they're pushing analogue APRS instead of D-Star though (which does everything APRS can do as well as digital voice)

Hey, it's got WIRES though
Looks like the bluetooth is optional. It can use a cradle for recharging.. something the 3R is lacking. Also, 6m AM... does 6m get used for AM in VK?

Price war! Strictly Ham have them now for $699...
Hopefully this might mean more things will start heading downwards in price.
