Is ch7 VKI always linked to the freo district or do they disconnect it for times like this week being 'schoolies' week?

If you're interested in the marine side of things, I strongly recommend the marine radio handbook that can be downloaded at http://www.amcom.amc.edu.au/handbook/.
It's got a rundown of the 156MHz marine VHF frequencies plus a lot of info about the HF side of things.
