vk6hgr wrote:I've noticed that too. I suspect the 472.075 Freq is a for public address paging. Will have to camp outside a fire station one day when I have little to do and find outWPXZBP wrote: While looking for Fireground channels on the ACMA database I discovered that there are no allocations in W.A. for 519.900 MHz and that each Career F&RS station in the metropolitan area has a licence for 519.625 MHz and also 472.075 MHz. I've never seen any reference to that channel before but the licence says that FM narrow (F3E) may be used.
Neither 458.025 or 458.075 are licensed either.
Anyone picked up anything on 472.075 , 458.025 or 458.075 ?

Yep. They're simplex handheld frequencies so you need to be quite close to hear them.celestial_insight wrote: Anyone picked up anything on 472.075 , 458.025 or 458.075 ?
When there were the fires in Whiteman park last year I could just here them talking on the UHF frequencies using my roof UHF CB antenna - and I'm about 5Kms away.
