With 205 and 380 going i'm not hearing a delay, the 6AR/6IP operator is coming through both at the same time. There is definetely something up with the link

Probably a bit over the top - there was a huge amount of radio traffic at the time.

This quick video demos the delay I'm talking about:

Seems as if the audio from that repeater the appliance was talking on was being routed through two links at once, arriving at different times (guessing due do digital processing or different equipment) and then being mixed together.

Another guess, if it was isolated to just one appliance, is that they had dual transmit activated and were talking on a mid band and high band NCC at the same time.

This recording was made with two different radios going (ch 380 and 205) so I don't think it's that. My guess is that it's delays caused by audio processing at the repeaters and/or links.

Whatever the cause, it's probably the reason why mobiles are talking over each other - your repeater sounds clear but someone else just started speaking 0.5s earlier and you can't hear them yet.

Hmm. Seems ok? Will do some tests later.

Edit: Seem to have lost the highband VHF radio.

Added a portable repeater channel 295 to the VHF highband receiver. Seems to be at Mandogalup.

All my DFES streaming scanner feeds are offline

My Internet connection has died in a big way and the feeds are offline until further notice.

Streams back online with a temporary 3G connection for now.
