Unfortunately no bat phone or sat phone. The CDMA usually keeps us in range as far as we go.

OK thrill - here it is. Like i said not much to look at, but i hope it satisfies your curiosity :)

On top is a Uniden Bearcat UBC9000XLT
Underneath is a Realistic UHF/VHF Scanner - FM Receiver PRO-2003
Next to them is a Roland MA-12 powered monitor

I believe that similar models to these were installed in the ark .

There is a second 9000XLT sitting on the desk of the journo that does the 'police rounds'.

oh my god

well now we know that the ABC have not spent tax payers funds on anything over the top

you should start a fund for new gear and I'll chip in $50

Great work accprop. That is the Channel 10 news link van that i haven't managed to snap a pic of yet. Of the 4 stations (see the ABC, 7 & 9 vans earlier in this post) i think the 10 van looks the best. Thanks again.

Still missing the elusive GWN wagon, and also noticed at Eagles traing the other day that 'FOX Sports News' now have a fully signwritten wagon.

The 10 vans are very nice inside, all completely digital and have a nice comfy chair to sit in.

The other stations vans are much older and still have a bit of a mixture of analog and digital gear in them...

Thanks HEKTIX for your pics. I never imagined we would get vehicles from interstate as well. Cheers.
