Counter Terrorism Drill in Fremantle - Today 7/11/07

Anyone hear anything about this?

FREMANTLE is today the focus of a major national counter terrorism exercise.

The joint training programme involves police, Australian Customs, Fire and Emergency Services Authority, Fremantle Ports and other government agencies.

Police said the exercise was not in response to a specific threat but was designed to test the organisations' effectiveness in jointly dealing with a terrorist threat.

Exercises would continue in and around the port throughout the day.

Yeah, got a media release through from Police Media overnight about it. Will operate into this evening as well.

Guys - Just an idea. Instead of posting NOW in the topic.

Can you date it? Possibly time aswell.

Twas great. I played victim for them. Great experience. But i dont wonna get my ass in hot water by saying more about it other than that.
