I have pics on my iPhone but don't know how to upload them. There is only the one on trial. WT300written_ficton wrote:Didn't know we have got them! Something to keep my eyes peeled for....
It has a wt call sign because driver training generally have carriage of the trial vehicles.written_ficton wrote:WT = Training vehicles?
The new canine utes are Ford Falcons.written_ficton wrote:The ones used by TK?
WT*** vehicles are assighned to the Police Academy, and therefore are primarily training vehicles. Most vehicles going through a trial period will be assigned to the academy and evaluated during training.written_ficton wrote:WT = Training vehicles?
That sucks. The commodores are that much slower that the fords. Would be nice to have the wt300 set up on a falcon ute. Don't get me wrong, I have owned mostly Holden's but with the new SIDI they are just too slow. Maybe if they were on the back of an SV6 ute that could work.singkenten wrote:The new Commodore pod's (WT300) from VicPol being trialled here have been given the go ahead - they will be rolled out in replacement of the 50-odd falcon vans...
Did a double take when i saw them riding thru Carousel carpark on Wednesday morning. They flew up ramp next to Myer - going too fast to see!written_ficton wrote:Two 4 - Wheel ORVs spotted today along Manning Road with Police onboard. Anyone know what callsigns they are?
