One of the cars had a film crew on board and got some good footage of the offender. He had three outstanding warrants and numerous warnings. Apparently the footage will be useful in court.

POI is still in the area and ? still armed with a knife as well POI has also attempted self harm and is bleeding.

POI is in view atm and being followed car waiting for backup.

Just had a TRG vehicle with sirens and lights flashing drive past my house from the Maylands Academy.

Any idea whats going on?

Normally they dont use sirens and lights.

Reports off gas in the street FESA on the way.

POI has threatened to blow the house up

Few more cars on the way now for evacuation + traffic control

TRG being mobilised + negotiater

Hopefully some news footage tonight minus any explosion
