Re: New TK car spotted in Kinross
Sweet!!! I want one! The only problem is that one is designed to look after a dog- I just need one to stop some nasty dog from biting me!!!!
Re: New TK car spotted in Kinross
With the wagons they could press a button and the backdoors would fly open, allowing the dog to chase a POI as soon as the car stopped moving. do these vans have the same option?
And it looks rather low. are they that low stock or is this a police add-on to let the dogs get out easier?

Good spot nra555- I have 2 FGs at work and they aren't that low so I reckon they have lowered them... The FGs are a bit high for dogs on standard suspension- I've had a few faceplant it into the dirt when unloading at the pound...

With the 5 spoke rim id say its a sports or upgraded model?Dam flash.Another thing would the air con go in to the rear for the dog in summer?

Re: New TK car spotted in Kinross
I seriously doubt that a K9 handler would let their charge leap out of a car and disappear in to the night. Police dogs are contolled at all times and won't do anything without their handler's instruction. Plus... the dog would have to be led to, or given, a scent to follow.nra555 wrote:...the backdoors would fly open, allowing the dog to chase a POI as soon as the car stopped moving.

The do however have remote releases which can be used in time of distress. Can't confirm it but I'd expect the dog is trained to go straight to the handler first regardless of what's going on. Thus if the handler is outside the car and is attacked if he releases the dog the dog will come and then tackle the offender as instructed.

Re: New TK car spotted in Kinross
The Commodore Wagons never had a quick release button for the dog to 'fly out and catch the crim's' It would be a danger for the gods
