Many topics in WARSUG

Many topics posted in WARSUG are not heard on a scanner,especially since Fesa is almost the only one you can scan, so why was the OFF TOPIC NEWS Section closed off,

Because people ignored the guidelines that were set out in the first place. It was meant to preferably be in WA and have close link to either Police, Fire, Ambulances, Amateur Radio, or any other volunteer organisation relevant to the board, Fire, Ses, Marine Rescue etc. However some of the articles being posted were muggings over in sydney. I believe a pretty good reasoning was put at the end of the thread when it was locked explaining all of this.

The problem is that it's in the Off Topic forum, so people post off topic news. We need an on-topic news thread

And the other part that doesn't seem to be sinking in is the bit that I keep repeating over and over again... "If you have a problem with the way the site is run, or by a decision that's made, raise it in private with the admins, don't make a post and whinge."

Consequently, this thread shall be locked for the reason of "basic failure to read instructions."
