I agree with Walks it is sort of sad and definetley the end of an era. Mind you scanning police these days is alot different from the early 90's. In 1993 there were nearly 600 pursuits in Perth. Whilst it is always said that crime is on the "rise" I believe that Perth in the early to mid 9...

The way around listing to the cops is buy a motorola xts3000 S 3 mine cost me $675 from the states and i can hear them all,at $675 its cheaper than the digital scanners that dont work :lol: Well that was a waste of $675. Yes they maybe the portables WAPOL use but without the encryption key they are...

There are issues with the analogue patch which normally they try and fix asap. In this case seeing the patch will be pulled in just over a week they will just let it run as the cost can't really be justified.

It is just a term "Crime Car". In the districts each detectives office takes it in turn to do the crime car on afternoon shift and dayshift weekends. This car is responsible for dealing with a serious crime in the district and then hand it over to the relevant detectives office.
