Re: Ranger vehicles
I dont know some people regard their dogs as their children and bringing them home is always a plus for Ranger Services. Then again people dont like getting fines for parking over the crossover in their driveway

Re: Ranger vehicles
Hi Holden5541, Always a pleasure to find another Ranger on here, I am certainly aware of the advantages of having a big utility working at an outer metro council and having the Ford Rangers/Falcons certainly makes the jobs easier. What I was simply saying was that more inner metro councils where par...

Re: Ranger vehicles
im aware of that but in city of subiaco animal control duties would not be their primary task. Parking would be the number one job however renaults or vw caddys can be modified to be used to store animals as at the city of south perth, town of victoria park and town of claremont.

Re: Ranger vehicles
I saw a little Citroen or Renault booting around that had Subi Ranger on it, I can't imagine that those guys would have much use for a the big falcon as most of their jobs would be traffic related?

Re: Transperth Security and Transit Officers
At the end of the day what does it matter. If you enjoy your job, your employed and your paying your rent/mortgage and supporting your family who cares what you do! If I lost my job and the only job I could get was as a Transperth Security Officer with Wilsons I would do it rather then be on the dol...

Re: DEC Hazmat Pollution Response Vehicle
They looked magenta to me. I have seen DEC fire vehicles with red and amber lights out and about, I dont know what priority this gives them as I have also seen Ranger vehicles with the same at City of Cockburn and Town of Kwinana.

Re: Police Custody Officers
Thats interesting, I was wondering when Australia would follow suit and introduce a Police Reform Act similar to the UK to introduce a PCSO type role. I would be very interested in further developments in this if you are able to let me know through private email? What sort of tasks would the PCSO/Au...

Re: Police Custody Officers
Thanks again, its interesting to see WA go down this path and its good to see this is now a specialised role freeing up regular PC's for operational roles. I think that NT Police has a similar role but they call them Auxiliary Police. I don't think Custody Officer would be a fun job however :S I thi...
