The new Scanias are the replacements for the old series Heavy pumps. So those stations that currently run a heavy pump will be replaced with one of these new appliances. They are being constructed at WA Fire Appliances. Also after the heavy's are replaced, they will be starting to replace the Series...

Rockingham 3rd was sent to Northam with two of the career relief FF's. A request was sent for extra manpower due to the nature of the incident.

Apart from the obivious, the single cab HSR (GPA) could only carry 3 crew,however it did carry 2000lt of water. I believe there are only 5 of these vehicles left.
