Tonights news includes a truck crashing into, and dragging a car a 100m down the road right in front of Police (NSW). Actual footage from the incident as it happened. Also a car overseas is captured on camera driving over 10's of people over the sidewalk.

And without assumptions again Ch7 stated that the starter gun was actually modified to take real bullets and there were 100+ bullets in his car.

Its quite impossible to modify a starter gun to take real bullets. You need extensive knowledge on how firearms work and have the proper equipment, which the guys looks like he has neither. Chances are that it was a blank fire handgun, which can be obtained with a Category A firearms licence and approx. $600-700.
